Your support is invaluable

The Church has been given the great responsibility of serving all the people of God in Pemberton, that's everyone who lives within the boundaries on this map. Those who are able to come to worship every week contribute generously so that the mission is able to go on from one generation to the next. They give of their time, their prayers, their care, and their money.

You too can help.

1. By joining the congregation, this Sunday.

2. By praying for St John's & the people of Pemberton.

3. By volunteering to help with the mission of the church, e.g. the Foodbank.

4. By making a regular donation to parish funds.

St John's churchyard is the burial place for most people in the immediate area, with thousands of graves. The nineteenth century headstones are irreplaceable for those wanting to learn more about the history of the area, but some are in poor repair. A group of stones were damaged by vandalism several years ago, many more have fallen over recently due to prolonged periods of wet weather softening the earth. The church considers it a great privilege that so many families entrust their dead to our care, but it brings with it a heavy burden, costing many thousands of pounds each year, as we seek to maintain the grounds of the churchyard. Please consider offering your help, in maintaining the churchyard for all the people of Pemberton.
